As Reuters’ manager for multimedia news production, InfoArk’s chief information architect Jonathan Engel was principal designer of the content classification and metadata scheme -- structured for XML output -- that defines and delivers Reuters’ multimedia news and data products.

As a related project, he created a database of key organizations and government bodies and managed the implementation of an automated categorization system, using Inxight’s Categorizer Workbench alongside a Documentum-based content management solution.
